I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Western Australia in 2012, but my career in acoustics started before finishing my degree – working on improving submarine sonar system algorithms as a summer vacation student in 2010 before being snagged by an acoustic consulting firm prior to starting my final semester.

My part-time studies continued in the background, completing a PhD in acoustics whilst working full time as a consultant. I find the fundamental physics and mathematics behind acoustics really interesting, but also really enjoy the consulting side of things and seeing the real world impacts of good acoustic design and fixing existing problems.

Outside of work I do freestyle wrestling and jiu jitsu to keep fit and test myself in competition. I enjoy building things around the house, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.
