I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) from Curtin University of Technology in 2010. I then started as a graduate Environmental Health Officer for the City of Perth in 2011 and stayed for six years. With the entertainment precinct Northbridge and numerous events within the City, I began to develop an interest in noise.
I then moved onto another inner city Local Government City of Vincent. During my time there, I was the noise guru within the team and was assigned most of the complex noise complaints to deal with. I had HBF Park (Perth Oval) within my area, where we would conduct noise monitoring of outdoor concerts in accordance with their approval.
By this time, I already had two kids and had been working for local government for 10 years, this was when I saw that Lloyd George Acoustics was hiring. This was an opportunity for me to further broaden my skills with acoustics and to work on the other side as a consultant for clients instead of enforcing the law. Within Local Government we tend to call the consulting world the ‘Dark Side’ but I am sure I can change that. So in 2021, I joined Lloyd George Acoustics and am on my way to becoming a great consultant.
Out of work, I have my little family which consists of my wife and two beautiful kids. We like to travel and do a bit of camping and fishing.
